• How long has the fence company been installing fences? There are many excellent, established fence companies in the Tulsa area, but since there are no real regulations for entry to this business, there are also many companies that consist of two guys and a pickup truck. Ask about their history and experience.


• Make sure you are getting the quality you are paying for. Fence materials are graded and should be priced based on the grade of material used with #1 grade the best and #3 the worst. What grade material will I be receiving?


• Make sure the fence company has general liability insurance in place. In the event of an accident while on your property the fence company needs coverage to protect you and your property. Ask for a copy of their Declaration Page showing their coverage.


• Make sure the fence company has workers compensation insurance. If an employee of the fence company is injured on your property and the fence company does not have workers compensation insurance you might be liable for that workers injuries.
